Bermud Link

The enclosure each volunteer carries. It gives an ordinary phone access to the network, wirelessly and with nothing to configure.

Render of the Bermud Link device, three-quarter view.

What the device does

  • It connects to the phone wirelessly and relays its messages over the network of units.
  • It fits in a pocket, three centimetres by four, and is worn all day.
  • It asks nothing of the volunteer. The app finds it and uses it.
  • A shared mode puts up to four volunteers on the same device.
