Use case

Festivals and music events.

Thousands of people on a few dozen hectares, teams spread across the whole site, and mobile coverage that gives out at the worst moment.

Aerial view of a festival at night: lit stage, big wheel, walkways lined with string lights.
A festival site at night.

The ground

A festival site packs the population of a small town onto a few dozen hectares for two days. The mast that covers the village for the rest of the year was never sized for that.

The campsite, the car parks and the technical areas are usually the worst covered, and those are exactly the places where your teams are on their own.

Saturation

Coverage gives out as the gates open, when everyone calls at once.

Spread

From the first car park to the last stage, by way of a campsite two kilometres out.

Rotation

Volunteers change posts through the day, and the plan changes with them.

What we put up

Units fix to what is already rigged: stage structures, lighting masts, buildings, containers. Nothing to drill, nothing to cable between the points.

We install during your build, we check the coverage with the site in its real configuration, and we take it all down with your derig.

Stage structureLighting mastBuilding

Three units fixed to what is already rigged, and what each one covers.

Who uses it

Security and first aid teams keep their radios. Bermud equips the teams that have none.

Volunteer coordination

Instructions, post changes and extra hands, without going through anyone’s personal phone.

Gates and box office

Entries, access control and queues, including the points far from the production office.

Welfare teams

Roving teams, harm reduction stands, and the contacts for sexual violence and harassment.

Control room

Alerts as they arrive, where they came from, and what has been taken on.

What you need to have ready

  • The site plan and the areas to cover, so the units can be positioned before we arrive.
  • A fixing point at height and a power supply near each unit.
  • A slot during the build, and another during the derig.

Let us talk about your festival

Send us the site plan and the dates. We will tell you how many units you need and where to put them.
